To practice the Vyahruti Homa, maintain a regular morning and evening Agnihotra practice. Vyahruti Homa can be done at any time of the day or night, except at Agnihotra time. This Homa can be done before you start any gathering or meeting. It creates a balanced atmosphere for the people who attend.
In the Vyahruti Homa, there are four mantra with four corresponding offerings. On the utterance of the first, second, and third Swaahas, offer all of the ghee in the spoon to the fire. Before the utterance of the fourth and final Swaaha, remove the spoon from the cup. On the utterance of the final Swaaha, offer all of the remaining ghee in the cup to the fire.
It is recommended to sit in silence until the fire is extinguished, or longer if you wish.
